On Saturday the 16th we headed to downtown Bend to check out the Bend Oktoberfest. The 13th annual event raises money for the beautification of downtown, and the Downtown Bend Business Association which hosts the event provided me with a pair of steins and tokens (each token worth $5, or one full beer).

It was a nice day for the event, and I believe it was bigger than I remember in years’ past. We didn’t stay for the entire run of festivities, but they had a good setup with the requisite oompah music playing, and plenty of food options (both German styled and regular).
