This week, Deschutes Brewery sent out samples of Farmstand Fresh, its mango-infused entry into the Fresh Family IPA series. It’s one that’s been out for a while, presumably in development, and has made it into cans available year round.

The capsule description from the email I received said, “Farmstand Fresh is a fruited IPA brewed with sticky sweet mango puree that is balanced with tropical notes from the Bravo & Mosaic hops at 6.4% ABV and 40 IBUs.” The longer description from the website reads:

We sought to create an IPA that brought huge mango flavor from aroma to finish. The experience is like traveling to a tropical locale and grabbing a mango from a farm stand and placing it in your IPA and hanging in your hammock.

I expect it will be a bit on the hazy side, but I’ll find out soon enough!
