Carolina Brewery’s November Charity Month outcome
For the month of November, Carolina Brewery raised money from proceeds of its sales for several organizations, including North Carolina Coastal Federation, Outer Banks Forever, and REAL Watersports. The company announced that the amount for the month (including guest donations) exceeded $10,500.
Details from the press release:
Carolina Brewery raised over $10,500 during their November Charity Campaign, an important campaign for the brewery’s continued support of conservation efforts of North Carolina coastline and waterways.
From November sales of both Chapel Hill and Pittsboro locations, the brewery restaurants are contributing significant proceeds of sales, alongside direct guest donations, to their sustaining partner North Carolina Coastal Federation. “The NC Coastal Federation has been a great charity partner of ours for several years and we are pleased to continue our support of their mission,” said Robert Poitras, Founder and CEO of Carolina Brewery. “Protecting our coasts and our coastal ecosystems is very important to us and we hope our contribution will help in those efforts that impact us all.”
Carolina Brewery also teamed up with Outer Banks Forever and REAL Watersports for Giving Tuesday, which took place on November 29, 2022. Together, Carolina Brewery and REAL Watersports each donated $5,000 to match the first $10,000 donated to the “Pathways to Your National Parks” project. This project will construct new paved paths in all three Outer Banks national parks for a safer and better connected park experience. Additional information and donations can be found on Outer Banks Forever’s website.
“‘Carolina Brewery believes in giving back to enhancing Carolina adventures. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Pathway project is near and dear to our hearts, and we couldn’t be more excited about getting this project started and encouraging others to join us,’ said Poitras, who is also a member of the Outer Banks Forever’s Board of Directors” (The Outer Banks Voice).
