Today’s beer is another selection from Mario at Brewed for Thought.

Mario has selected an ale from Telegraph Brewing that was inspired by Mexican hot chocolate.

Telegraph’s Winter Ale starts with an aroma of roasted malts and allspice. A sweetness is balanced by a roasted malt and dry cinnamon flavor with a smokey chile finishing on your palate as you swallow. There’s a subtle heat on the tongue but nothing overpowering. Smooth yet bold flavors hide the alcohol well.
