Today’s Advent calendar pick comes from the opposite side of the country from yesterday: we go down to Dunedin, Florida to find Florida’s oldest craft brewery, Dunedin Brewery. In past years they have offered up a “Blitzen Ale” as their holiday offering, though this year they’ve done something different: Holiday Pharmhouse Ale.

This year we are feeling creative & will be introducing a new holiday beer, replacing our traditional Blitzen Ale.

This year on Black Friday (Nov 29th) we will release our new Holiday Pharmhouse Ale, a saison brewed with orange peel, cinnamon, & black cherries.

This spiced Saison is 7.3% alcohol by volume, and is released in both bottles and a limited quantity on draft. To me it sounds a bit fruitcake-y, which is of course perfect for the season—though I suspect any bottles you give away won’t be re-gifted over and over again!
