We head to France today to visit the storied Brasserie Meteor which produces a range of styles, including a spring seasonal and of course a Christmas beer. This specialty, Meteor Noël, is a bière de Noël brewed with spices and orange zest that carries the tagline, “The taste of unforgettable Christmas.”

It’s an easy-drinking holiday ale with 5.8% alcohol by volume and 13 IBUs, and if you’ve been good this year, perhaps Père Noël (the Santa Claus of France) will bring you a bottle. It should also pair nicely with your Christmas meal along with any candy and dessert—try it with a slice of bûche de Noël.
