Alamo Beer Company joins Hops for Heroes campaign
The latest brewery to join the Hops for Heroes fundraising campaign is Alamo Beer Company, which released its Homefront IPA at the beginning of the month. The beer raises funds for the Soldiers’ Angels organization supporting veterans, service members, and their families.
Details from the press release:
Alamo Beer Company will release its version of Homefront IPA™ – a collaborative beer that supports the mission of San Antonio-based Soldiers’ Angels – at its Lamar Street Beer Hall on July 3. The release event is part of Soldiers’ Angels annual “Hops for Heroes” campaign, which invites craft breweries of all sizes to brew its custom IPA recipe and donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the beer’s sales to the national nonprofit organization.
Alamo Beer Company is one of 14 craft breweries to collaborate on this year’s Hops for Heroes campaign, which helps fund Soldiers’ Angels’ national and international support programs. Other breweries participating in the program include Founders Brewing Co. (Grand Rapids and Detroit, Mich.), Center of the Universe Brewing (Ashland, Va.), Left Hand Brewing (Longmont, Colo.) and Karbach Brewing (Houston, Tex.). “We’re excited to be joined by our favorite hometown brewery to help honor those who sacrificed for our country,” said Soldiers’ Angels President & CEO Amy Palmer. “Through the support of Alamo Beer Company, Soldiers’ Angels can continue to serve our veterans, service men and women deployed throughout the world, and their families back home. Plus, everyone who orders a Homefront IPA can feel good knowing that every sip supports our troops!”
