Below Grade Brewing is pouring beer this weekend
Today’s local Bend Bulletin reports that nanobrewery Below Grade Brewing will be pouring their beer this weekend for the first time, at the NorthWest Crossing Farmers Market:
Husband and wife Dean and Bridget Wise of Bend will debut the beers they’ve been working on producing through their Below Grade Brewing at the Saturday Farmers Market at the city’s NorthWest Crossing development this Saturday.
The couple will draw from kegs to fill plastic cups with any of their three brews — a double India pale ale, a German hefeweizen and an old ale — for $5 a cup, Dean Wise said.
It’s worth noting that the three introductory beers—a Double IPA, a German Hefeweizen, and an Old Ale—are a bit of a departure for “launch beers”, at least here in Oregon: typically you’d see a Pale Ale, IPA, and maybe another IPA or a Brown Ale.
