Brine, Brew & Barrel Festival returns to Ashland for third annual event
The annual Brine, Brew & Barrel Festival is just around the corner, returning to Ashland, Oregon for the third time. The event is taking place January 12 through 14 at the Ashland Hills Hotel, and features a variety of workshops and demos along with a beer dinner and a cider social.
Brine, Brew & Barrel Fermentation Festival celebrates the multi-cultural culinary tradition of fermented products including pickles, krauts, kombucha, beer, wine, cider, mead, chocolate, cheese, coffee, sourdough, and everything in between. The festival will be hosted at Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites.
Join us on an epic culinary journey of discovery of new and familiar flavors! Enjoy 2-day Vendors Marketplace, workshops and demonstrations, activities for the whole family, delightful lunch options from food trucks and LUNA Café, and more.
Brine, Brew & Barrel also includes some specialty events you do not want to miss. On Friday, January 12 kickstart your fermentation festival weekend with fun and casual Brew Bash dinner. On Saturday and Sunday, join us at the Hot Sauce & Bloody Mary Brunch. And finally, on Saturday evening, experience Cider Social – a fun casual gathering at Ashland Springs Hotel. There is something for everyone!
Of particular interest to beery type folk are the Brew Bash Dinner taking place the night of Friday the 12th, and the Cider Social taking place Saturday the 13th in the evening as well. The Brew Bash is a multi-course beer dinner paired with brews from de Garde Brewing; the Cider Social features cider tasting, a meet and greet with cider makers, appetizers, and more. Both of these take place at the Ashland Springs Hotel in downtown Ashland (separate from the main fest at the Ashland Hills).
The Cider Social also serves as a kick-off event for Oregon Cider Week, which runs January 13 through 21.
Check out the overall schedule and note that there are a variety of ticket and package options, and that some of the events (like the Brew Bash Dinner and Cider Social) do cost extra (unless part of a package). Tickets can be purchased ahead of time here.
