Now that was good timing—a bottle of McMenamins’ Halloween seasonal, Black Widow Porter, arrived yesterday, coinciding with the October 15 release date. I might pick up a growler of the locally-brewed version to drink side-by-side with this bottle (brewed at the Edgefield brewery in Troutdale).
