The first Bend Ale Festival this Saturday
If you’re looking for something beer-y to do this weekend in Central Oregon, on Saturday, November 12 the first Bend Ale Festival is taking place in Bend’s Northwest Crossing neighborhood. It’s presented in conjunction with Bend Ale Run half-marathon taking place that morning, which itself is very “Bend,” running and beer. Here are the details:
All Hail the Ale at the inaugural Bend Ale Festival and Bend Ale Run in Bend, OR on November 12, 2016! Join us in Bend’s Northwest Crossing Neighborhood to sample some of the region’s best beers during this one-day celebration. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample more than 40 beers from 20 breweries. Runners can also join the Bend Ale Run half marathon and 10K. The Bend Ale Run finishes at the Ale Festival, the perfect spot for thirsty runners to celebrate.
Ale Festival attendees can purchase tokens and tasting packages at the door. Early registration for the half-marathon and 10K is encouraged. To register for the race, click here.
All ages are welcome at the festival. You must be 21 or older to taste the ale. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Location: NW CrossingCost at the door: $10 at the door for a tasting glass, $20 for a tasting package, includes glass and 10 tokens. Additional tokens: $5 for 4 tokens. Tastes: 1 token for a 4oz taste

All but Full Sail are entirely local, so it will be a good showcase of the local beer scene. (Not disparaging Full Sail at all!
