GoodLife Brewing introduces Secret Stash Hazy IPA
Bend’s GoodLife Brewing jumps on the hazy train, and announced yesterday the latest (and final) beer in their Secret Stash Experimental IPA series, Secret Stash Hazy IPA. It’s the culmination of the brewery’s year-long experimental project, where they had released a new IPA every couple of months through 2017.
Here is the press release:
For the last beer in the Secret Stash Experimental IPA series, we wanted to really blow your mind with the use of hops and experimentation. We hadn’t jumped on the haze craze, but the brewers were adamant that they’d created one of the best Secret Stashes yet.
Head Brewer/Production Manager, Tyler West, said “Secret Stash Hazy IPA is all about the hops. We used over 5 lbs of hops per barrel straight packing this beer with Tropical and Citrus aromas, finishing fresh, smooth and balanced.”
Here’s a description from the brewers: “This beer is a hazy pale golden straw color that is heavily hopped with Centennial, Meridian, Idaho 7, and El Dorado hops. The result is a beer with juicy aromas of tropical fruit, lemon citrus, grapefruit, pear, tea leaf, and watermelon. At 7.6% ABV and 60 IBU’s, this beer has a softer vibe for an IPA, but brings a big punch when it comes to flavor and aroma.”
Secret Stash Hazy IPA will be available for distribution in Oregon, Washington and Idaho in draft only starting today!
