Juniper Brewing celebrates 1 year of beer
Redmond, Oregon’s Juniper Brewing is celebrating their first anniversary this weekend, kicking things off Friday, March 6 from 4 to 9pm, and continuing all day Saturday from 11am to closing (10pm-ish). They’ve posted a short description of the party plans on their site:
We will be having a blast as we turn 1 year old this weekend! Dump City Dumplings will be on hand to fill your bellies, Onay Weaver will be providing some Live Entertainment Saturday Evening, Beer specials, giveaways, and more!!
Launched in March of 2014 by homebrewers-turned-pro Curtis Endicott and Scott Lesmeister, Juniper Brewing is Redmond’s third brewery (it would have been fourth had Phat Matt’s Brewing gone under). They brew on a 2-barrel system as a production brewery with tasting room located in an industrial park on Redmond’s south end (across the street from the Deschutes County Fairgrounds) and distribute throughout Central Oregon.
Their beers include (lifted from their website, so “On tap now” is variable):
- Jolly Black (On tap Now)
- The Milkman Wit (On tap Now)
- Old Roy IPA
- Tap Root Red (On tap Now)
- Pat-Kat Porter
