Killer Pumpkin Fest postponed; Elysian Pumpkin in Canby
The Brewpublic Killer Pumpkin Festival that was originally scheduled for today at The Green Dragon has been postponed due to the crazy storm weather. (Did you see the tornado in Manzanita yesterday?) Instead it has been moved to Saturday, October 29.
Meanwhile the Elysian Brewing Pumpkin Roadshow has been making the rounds, and next Saturday, October 22, it lands in Canby, Oregon at The Wild Hare Saloon. They sent out a press release:
Presented by The Wild Hare Saloon, Western Beverage and Elysian Brewing, the Great Pumpkin Roadshow is a charitable event featuring 8 craft pumpkin beers from Elysian Brewing’s specialty catalog. This event runs October 22nd from 2 pm to 10 pm and is open to all ages.
This event will feature three bands—CoolKids, Lance Kinnaird, and Capital Gains. In addition to tasting exclusive offerings from Elysian Brewing, there will be plenty of activities for all ages. Games like Cornhole and Life Size Jenga are sure to entertain the whole family, but there will also be a pumpkin painting contest, a costume contest, a pumpkin tapping and more.
Pumpkin flare and costumes are highly encouraged. Get creative! We will also have a free photo booth so you can commemorate the event.
Plenty of opportunity to get your pumpkin beer fix!
