McMenamins 18th Annual Roadhouse Brewfest returns Saturday, June 20
McMenamins has been hosting a number of brewfests going back over two decades with the original Hillsdale Brewfest and these are fun events, taking place on the grounds of various properties with a wide selection of other McMenamins breweries as well as guest breweries. This Saturday, June 20, the latest festival, the 18th annual Roadhouse Brewfest returns to the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in Hillsboro.
It’s the height of summer and no one wants to be indoors – we all want to be outside, drinking beer and dancing and singing the night away in honor of Oregon Craft Beer Month, right? Yeah! So come on out for the hugely popular and massively fun Roadhouse Brewfest.
This noncompetitive celebration of beer features brews from many McMenamins Breweries as well as several Guest Breweries nearby. Tours of the Brewery and Distillery will be available throughout the afternoon. Meet, mingle and chat with our brewers, enjoy food from Imbrie Hall’s summertime menu, and let the kids run around all crazy-like. This Brewfest is a summertime tradition for loads of Pacific Northwest beer lovers.
The brewfest runs from 1 to 9pm, and to drink beer it costs $20 in advance (or $25 at the door) which gets you the glass and 10 drink tokens. Along with live music, face painting, and The Balloon Guy, there will be brewery and distillery tours taking place every half hour from 2 to 6pm.
The list of participating breweries and ciders is posted on the event page, though I haven’t seen a beer list yet. Keep an eye on that page to see if one gets posted.
