This month marks the return of Oktoberfest, and among the various McMenamins locations there are a number of Oktoberfest events taking place. Here in Bend, McMenamins Old St. Francis School is hosting its annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 21.

It’s an all-day affair, all ages are welcome, and doesn’t cost anything to hang out and listen to music (which begins at 1pm). From the website:

Oktoberfest means celebration and beer, so we’re serving up tasty German-style specials, Oktoberfest Lager, special Oktoberfest taps at O’Kane’s and live music as a backdrop to it all. Prost!

McMenamins Oktoberfest Lager
Celebrate a longtime tradition with a traditional beer. We make this lager only once each year for our Oktoberfest celebrations – but it’s great for drinking anytime or place! Turn up the accordion, pour a pint in the autumn sun, and celebrate harvest season and beer.

Live Music
1-3pm * Pete Kartsounes
3:30-6pm * The Vibeshiftas
7-9:30pm * Left on Wilson

Cans of Oktoberfest Lager are already for sale at the OSF, and of course, Thundercone Fresh Hop Ale is out now too—another great beer to enjoy for the season.
