It’s just a bit over a month away until this year’s Oregon Brewers Festival, and I’m starting to get excited for it: this will be the first time in a few years that I’ll be able to make it to Portland to attend the Fest. It’s taking place July 28th through the 31st (Thursday through Sunday) at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, as always.

This year they are claiming 85 beers on tap, and of course the Buzz Tent will be present as well, pouring rare and special beers.

Being a beer weekend I should probably try to visit some of the (many!) new breweries in Portland that I haven’t made it to yet—I’m particularly interested in Coalition, Burnside Brewing, Upright, Breakside, the Cascade Barrel House… though I very much doubt I’ll be able to visit more than a couple, if that. At least one.
