Following a competitive review, Deschutes Brewery has selected NORTH and Campbell Consulting Group, Inc. as its agencies of record for creative and public relations. NORTH, based in Portland, Ore., will be responsible for developing brand communications that resonate with existing and potential craft beer drinkers. Campbell Consulting, based in Bend, Ore., will be responsible for generating print, broadcast, and online media coverage that communicates the Deschutes brand.

NORTH landed the account as creative agency of record after producing an impromptu video that illustrated the Deschutes culture using footage from the company’s pubs and brewing facility.

Campbell Consulting’s online PR experience and intimate familiarity with Deschutes Brewery’s beers and culture were deciding factors in being chosen as public relations agency of record. It didn’t hurt that both agencies expressed a commitment to whatever product sampling and feedback is required of them.
