On Friday I received two bottles of 10 Barrel Brewing‘s latest pub exclusive beer, Beernog, which is also available in bottles (at the pubs). A creation of Shawn Kelso, head brewer at their Boise pub, this is a monster of a strong winter ale at 11.9% abv, and has holiday spices added. On top of that, it was aged in rum barrels, so there’s definitely a lot going on here. I’ll report as I go.
