Received: Best Day Brewing Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza
I recently received cans of the latest non-alcoholic beer from California-based Best Day Brewing, a Mexican style lager with lime and sea salt, Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza. This new NA brew joins Best Day’s core lineup which consists of Kölsch-Style, West Coast IPA, and Hazy IPA.
Here are details from the press release about the new beer:
What: Best Day Brewing, one of the fastest growing non-alcoholic beer brands in the country, is relaunching its top-selling seasonal release Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza into its core collection. The light and refreshing non-alcoholic Mexican-style lager, crafted with sea salt, fresh lime puree, corn, and Montueka Hops, became a fan-favorite amongst Best Day’s dedicated drinkers. Following the meteoric success of the limited release, it was only fitting to bring the crisp brew into the core line.
Additionally, continuing the brand’s partnership with Alaska Airlines, announced in December 2023, the Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza will become the latest official NA beer of Alaska Airlines. Starting mid-April, this product will replace Best Day Brewing’s non-alcoholic Kölsch for Alaska Airlines travelers.
When: Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza will join Best Day’s core collection this week and will be offered on all Alaska Airlines flights starting mid-April.
Where: Best Day Brewing’s Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza is available for purchase on bestdaybrewing.com and at select retailers including Whole Foods, BevMo, Target, Total Wine, and H.E.B., and Amazon. On Alaska Airlines, Electro-Lime is complimentary in First Class and Premium Class and available for purchase in Main Cabin and in select lounges.
Quote from Executive: “When the Electro-Lime launched as our first rotational offering, we were overwhelmed by the positive response from our customers,” said Tate Huffard, Founder & CEO of Best Day Brewing. “After it was off the shelves, we received an endless amount of inquiries from customers asking for more. It made it a no-brainer to bring it back and offer it year-round.”
Additional Details: Best Day Brewing prides itself on creating non-alcoholic beers with the same taste profiles as their full-strength counterparts. Best Day removes the alcohol from its beers through state-of-the-art proprietary technology where the beer never rises above the fermentation temperature. The result is a beer that maintains a robust flavor profile and complexity, without the alcohol.
Best Day Brewing is continuing its seasonal rotations with the current Belgian White and new releases slated for spring and summer 2024.
I’ve reviewed the Kölsch and West Coast IPA before and found them to be worthwhile for non-alcoholic beer options. That was two years ago, so I expect (hope) this new one will be even more fine-tuned.
