Received: Boxes of beers on Black Friday
I’m not quite sure how this all converged, but three different packages of beers arrived yesterday (Black Friday) from various sources.
The first were three barrel-aged and cellar reserved beers from North Coast Brewing: Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve 2018, and two bottles of Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXII, one aged in rye whiskey barrels and one in bourbon barrels. The press release about these can be found here.
Next up, a can of Harpoon Brewery‘s Giving Gose, its seasonal cranberry gose that is raising money for food banks. I featured this in my Thanksgiving beer roundup, and I’m looking forward to opening it up.
Finally, Sufferfest Beer Company has a new beer out, Head Start Stout, a coffee stout. When contacted about samples I thought I would be receiving just one or two of the Head Start but in fact I received two mixed six-packs:
In addition to Head Start, there are also FKT Pale and Repeat Kolsch.
So, I’ve got some drinking and writing to do!
