When Clown Shoes Beer announced the return of its 12 Beers of Christmas mix pack, samples were offered for holiday coverage and I assumed that meant the company would send three or four cans from the 12-pack. I requested samples and to my surprise, the full mix pack arrived on the doorstep this week.

It’s good timing as I’m prepping for the annual Beer Advent Calendar and still gathering ideas (not saying any will necessarily make an appearance, but…) and I might also do 12 days of reviews for each beer in the pack for December.

It’s an interesting mix of beers, and for the record, here’s the list of all 12:

1. Reindeer Games – Bavarian IPA
2. One Man Holiday – Belgian-style Quad
3. Royal Standard – Wee Heavy
4. Space Cake – Double IPA
5. Coconut Sombrero – Mexican Stout
6. Baked Goods – Pale Ale
7. Swagger – Red Lager
8. Burnt Caramel – Brown Ale
9. Lucha Cerveza – Mexican Cerveza (Lager)
10. Aurora Orangealis – IPA with orange peel
11. Blaecorn Yuledragon – Spiced Imperial Stout
12. Cosmic Waffle – Belgian IPA
