Received: Hop Valley Brewing Hazy Daze mixed pack
Hop Valley Brewing has a new mixed pack of hazy IPAs out this month, its Hazy Daze 12-pack. The brewery is positioning it as a vacation pack (ideal for spring break, and so on) with a variety of hazy tropical flavors. I received a 12-pack this week to review.
Details from the email release on each of the four beers in the pack:
OPERATION VACATION (Peach/Pear): If you enjoy the tropical applications of leisure, look no further than the accents from the heavy dry hopping of Simcoe Cryo Hops. This beer has intense aromas of peach, citrus and fresh pear juice to take your tastebuds on a warm weather vacay. ABV 6%. IBU 20
PINEAPPLE STASH HOUSE (Pineapple): Enjoy the tropical bouquet of this island inspired delight. Generous heaps of pineapple were added to the fermenter to create harmony with Simcoe Cryo Hops. ABV 6.7% IBU 31
STASH PANDA (Grapefruit): This Hazy IPA features Citra Cryo Hops and a hefty helping of grapefruit peel giving this bright hazy tropical ale an unmasked citrus flavor and aroma. ABV 6.5% IBU 50
STASH BANDICOOT (Apricot/Berries): Stash Bandicoot packs a punch with our stash of Citra, Ahtanum, and Chinook Cryo Hops. Discover a juicy jungle with notes of apricots and red berries in this Hazy Imperial IPA. ABV 8%, IBU 61.
I’ll be drinking soon and taking notes.
