The Brew SiteReceived: Newcastle DraughtKeg
This is the largest item I have yet received for promotional purposes:
It’s a five liter “DraughtKeg” which can operate as a standalone mini-keg, or be used in the “BeerTender” keg system (proprietary to Newcastle and Heineken, I believe). And yes, it’s full of beer.
I’ve reviewed Newcastle Brown before, so that’s not breaking any new ground. But I am curious as to how well this works, and will report back accordingly.
That’s awesome! I’m totally naive to this but how do you get breweries to send you promotional kegs? That sounds like a great thing to receive! Happy drinking!
Well, I don’t “get” them to send anything—in this case, I was approached by the PR firm that handles Newcastle here in the U.S.
Produce a good blog with solid content, and hopefully breweries and PR will get in touch with you too. đŸ™‚
