Late last week two cans of Grapefruit Radler, the latest creation from Paulaner’s USA arm, arrived on the doorstep. It’s a 50/50 blend of the brewery’s classic Münchner Lager with grapefruit lemonade, and only 2.5% ABV. The PR copy that I received with it says:

Natural. Fruity. Not too sweet. It will certainly be the best-tasting Grapefruit Radler yet and with much less sugar too. It’s the perfect mixture: 50% smooth Münchner Lager and 50% natural grapefruit with only 2.5% alcohol. It’s made with 100% natural ingredients without artificial additives so it’s delicious, balanced flavor is matched only with its pure ingredients. Would you expect anything less from Germany’s premier brewer? 2.5% ABV | IBU 13
