I received these this evening:

A pair of this year’s Winterhook winter seasonal from Washington’s Redhook Brewery. Redhook is one of the grandaddy of American craft breweries, and astoundingly this is the 28th year of Winterhook. Each year the recipe is changed up a bit (in the tradition of such beers) and this year’s is 6% abv with 45 IBUs.

I have to say, I rather like Redhook’s new bottles (they’ve been out for a while now); they’re distinctive on the shelf but have a really nice heft and handfeel to them. Kind of a stubby-while-not-a-stubby.
