Received this week: 2 Towns, Deschutes
Two packages came in this week, one from 2 Towns Ciderhouse and the other from Deschutes Brewery.
From 2 Towns comes their 2016 vintage Cidre Bouché, a keeved French-style cider, released in a limited run of 375ml bottles. I’m expecting a fairly dry cider with barnyard notes to come from this one—I recently had a small sip-sample at one of the beverage shows and that was my impression, so I’m looking forward to trying these.
Deschutes Brewery sent out their two just-released seasonals: Hop Trip Fresh Hop Pale Ale and this year’s Jubelale. While I pretty much know what to expect with these beers, I always look forward to trying them.
