It was a year and a half ago that I first pointed to It’s Pub Night’s Six-Pack Equivalent Calculator (SPE); a brilliant little app that tells you the equivalent cost of your beer as if you were buying a six-pack of it (in 12-ounce bottles). Which can be an eye-opening comparison.

Now, to be even cooler, there is now an Android app of this as well—for the Android phone, that is. (No iPhone app yet forthcoming.) Awesome! The SPE is the kind of app that begs for a mobile application like this—something you can whip out while your at the pub, or at the store figuring out the best relative costs of that beer you want.

I know the next app I’ll be downloading for my (Android) phone.
