A tidy little package containing two 12-ounce bottles and one 22-ounce bottle of Portland Brewing’s ZigZag River Lager arrived today. It’s moving to a year-round release schedule and I imagine will be a welcome warm-weather beer (whenever the warmer weather kicks in for good).
Portland Brewing’s spring seasonal, of which they sent me a sample recently, is their Rose Hip Gold, a “Belgian-style ale with notes of fruit and spice and a little citrusy bite from a generous addition of rose hips in the kettle.” I believe they had first released this last year as … Continue reading
