McMenamins is debuting a new beer festival this Saturday, June 8, taking place at the Gearhart Hotel in Gearhart—the GoonFest Brewfest. Because Gearhart is close to Astoria, setting and filming location of the movie The Goonies, it’s a Goonies-themed brewfest, of course!

Our first ever brewfest is here! Truffle shuffle your way over to the Gearhart lawn for a day packed with beer, fun and plenty of ‘80s nostalgia. Enjoy 19 Goonies-inspired beers & ciders from McMenamins and Northwest Coast breweries. Plus, a specialty tap available at the Sand Bar, a Goonies-themed Passport Discovery Hunt, lawn games, a putting contest and more! Pets are welcome. Get your tickets now and join in on the fun – because Goonies never say die.

Entry is free, but to partake in the beer part of the fest, the cost is $25 if you purchase tickets in advance (you can buy the tickets here), or $30 at the door. This includes the brewfest glass and 10 tokens for beer.
