The Walla Walla Brewfest takes place tomorrow (Saturday, Feb 18)
Walla Walla, Washington is largely known for wine (and onions) but the beer scene has been growing over the past decade or so, and these days there’s even a beer festival. The Walla Walla Brewfest is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, February 18, taking over the downtown area to offer a lineup of 25 breweries and cideries from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
It’s taking place from noon to 4:00 p.m. Online ticket sales have closed but you can still purchase tickets on site for $50, which gets you admission, a tasting glass, and five scrip (or tasting tickets). You can purchase the tickets at the check-in point located at 38 E Main Street, and you’ll be able to purchase more scrip as well.
The participating breweries are listed on the website and there will be 17 downtown locations where beer and cider will be pouring—you can view list with addresses on the site (which what brewery is pouring where), but here’s the map to give you a taste:
This looks to be a great showcase for Washington breweries in particular, but should you need a break from the beer, there are even more winery tasting rooms to check out. The Brewfest is taking place rain, snow, or shine, so be prepared and dress accordingly for mid-February.
