Urban South Brewery releases seasonals Sunshine Haze Dream, Rocket Pop Gose
New (summer) seasonal specialties are out from Urban South Brewery, featuring a hazy milkshake IPA and a fruited gose, both inspired by frozen summertime treats. They are currently available across the company’s distribution footprint.
Sunshine Haze Dream:
A creamsicle milkshake IPA dry hopped with Citra and Comet hops, Sunshine Haze Dream is aged with tangerine juice and vanilla bean for a decadent, juicy finish (6.5% ABV).
Sunshine Haze Dream will be in limited distribution throughout the summer months. The new release will be available on draft and in cans at the New Orleans taproom, as well as in restaurants, bars and stores throughout Urban South’s distribution footprint in Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. A version of Sunshine Haze Dream will also be available at Urban South’s taproom in Houston.
Rocket Pop Gose:
Urban South Brewery has announced the return of Rocket Pop Gose just in time to beat the summer heat. A play on the childhood summertime treat, Urban South puts a tart and sweet spin on this fruited-sour gose with the addition of blue raspberry, cherry and lime. Choose Rocket Pop Gose for those warm summer days when only the most crushable, thirst-quenching refreshment will do.
Rocket Pop Gose is Urban South’s summer seasonal beer and will remain on shelves until mid-August. The summer brew is available on draft and in six-pack cans at the Tchoupitoulas Street brewery, as well as in stores and restaurants throughout Urban South’s distribution footprint in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
I don’t know how well they’d pair with their frozen treat inspirations, but couldn’t hurt to try.
