Van Henion Brewing’s exclusive collab IPA with Brother Jon’s Public House
Bend’s newest brewery Van Henion Brewing recently teamed up with Kevin Collins of Brother Jon’s Public House to brew up a special collaboration beer to be served exclusively at Brother Jon’s — Brother Van’s IPA. The Public House will be hosting a release party on Wednesday, May 11, from 3 to 5pm.
Details on the beer:
Brother Van’s IPA
5.7% ABV
50 IBUClassic take on a west coast IPA. Light Orange in color, bright and light bodied. This IPA has aromatics that are tropical and citrusy due to the generous dry hop of Citra, Simcoe, Sabro and HBC-586 hops. Brother Van’s IPA is an easy drinker, with a bitterness that balances its ABV.
This is not one that will be making it into cans, so if you want to try the latest Van Henion brew (aside from the new Pilsner), you can find it at Brother Jon’s over on Bend’s westside starting next Wednesday.
